Body Therapy

I use myofascial release therapy and integrative massage techniques to restore and heal the body for a wide variety of conditions, including symptoms of stress, migraines, back & neck issues and scar tissue.

In addition, I offer wellness coaching and trauma-informed talk therapy as part of my integrated approach to healing.

Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR)

Fascia is a connective tissue system that weaves its way through the body, like a spider’s web. It forms a three-dimensional structure of support and moves through the entire body. It covers the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, organs, and even blood vessels. When fascia is restricted through physical and emotional stress, it can be extremely painful and causes the surrounding fascia to harden protectively.

The goal of myofascial therapy is to stretch and loosen the fascia to bring more freedom of movement and the release of pain caused by physical and emotional stress or trauma.

MFR can provide release of pain and fatigue from:

  • Stress

  • Scar tissue and other adhesions

  • Jaw Problems - TMJ Disorder

  • Migraines
